
Assemblyman Lou Tobacco, a Staten Island Native, was elected in March, 2007 to serve the people of New York State’s 62nd Assembly District. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from SUNY Albany’s Rockefeller College, and worked as a legislative aid in The New York State Assembly internship program. Upon his graduation, he served the Staten Island Borough President as Assistant Director of Contract Oversight. In the Assembly, he is the Ranking Republican on the Social Services Committee and Vice Chairman of the Sex Offender Watch Task Force.
