Assemblywoman Dierdre “Dede” Scozzafava is a life-long North Country resident representing the 122nd Assembly District, which includes Lewis County and portions of Oswego, St. Lawrence and Jefferson counties. She is a former Village of Gouverneur Trustee and Mayor and continues to be a vocal advocate for Northern New York. She serves as a member of the Manufacturing Task Force and has held hearings for the Task Force on Agriculture. Scozzafava also serves as chairwoman of the Assembly Republican Review Committee (ARRC), which determines the policies and ideas that will be priorities during the legislative session.
