Assemblyman David G. McDonough was elected to the 19th Assembly District in February, 2002, serving part of Nassau County, where he has been an active community member for over 20 years. Assemblyman McDonough is Immediate Past President of the Nassau County Council of Chambers of Commerce and is a continuing Board Member of the Bellmore-Merrick Community Wellness Council. He is the Ranking Republican on the Assembly Consumer Affairs and Protection Committee, and Chairs the Assembly Republican Sex Offender Watch Task Force.
