Assemblyman Steve Hawley was elected on February 28, 2006 to serve the 139th Assembly District. A Batavia native, he graduated from Batavia High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Toledo. Hawley served seven years in the Ohio Army National Guard and the US Army Reserves. He is former owner/operator of Hawley Farms, and currently owns ‘The Insurance Center’ in Batavia with his wife, Crystal. He has been appointed Ranking Republican on the Assembly Veterans Committee and Vice Chair of the Assembly Republican Program Committee.
