Bob OaksAssemblyman Bob Oaks has earned a reputation as a dedicated advocate of improving New York state’s economic climate and agricultural industry. As a small businessowner and local insurance agent, Oaks knows the obstacles businesses face in New York.

In addition to serving as Co-Chairman of the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee, Assemblyman Oaks serves as the Deputy Minority Leader – a position that provides him the opportunity to advance proposals to help businesses and families succeed. As a member of the Assembly Minority Task Force on Small Business and former County Clerk, Oaks has worked to Bring NY Back with legislation that improves New York’s business climate and removes red-tape while improving access to government.

Assemblyman Oaks earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Colgate University and a Master’s degree from the University of Montana. Oaks and his wife, Judy, reside in Macedon. They have two adult sons, Christopher and Jason.
